Musselman Weekend 2008 is not only the fifth edition of the event, but the 50th anniversary of our presenting sponsor, Red Jacket Orchards. The fertile orchards that swell with Red Jacket fruits were originally planted in 1917, and in 1958 the Nicholson family began harvesting nature's bounty from these lands. Today a third generation maintains the family traditions of quality, wholesomeness, and environmental responsibility. In 2004 Red Jacket Orchards became the very first sponsor of the Musselman, taking a risk to support a local endeavor, and each year their involvement has grown.

In 2006, the whole of Geneva recognized Red Jacket's commitment to excellence and community by naming it Business of the Year. The 2008 ZAGAT survey raved over its "best-on-the-planet" juices, ciders, and nexctars. The Musselman is proud to share Red Jacket's values, exemplified by environmentally friendly Integrated Pest Management practices and work to eliminate all preservatives from its fresh juices.
