Every single member of the family can participate in the Musselman Triathlon Weekend. After the mini-Mussel and the Musselman in the morning, join us for the MusselKids race in the afternoon! The race will be held completely in the confines of Seneca Lake State Park, and will offer a taste of triathlon to aspiring athletes aged 7 to 14.

 

• WHEN: same day as the Musselman! Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 2:30 pm

• WHERE: Seneca Lake State Park [interactive course map]

• WHO: junior (age 7-10) and senior (age 11-14) divisions.

• DISTANCES: ages 7-10: 50 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1/4 mile run
  ages 11-14: 100 yard swim, 3 mile bike, 1/2 mile run

• DETAILS: registration is $20 and includes swim cap, reuseable Eco Sports Bottle, finisher keepsake, and post-race eatums. All participants must be annual members of USA Triathlon to compete. Annual youth memberships cost $5, are valid for one year, and are available at www.usatriathlon.org. Annual memberships will also be available for purchase at the race.
