Red Jacket "Behind the Juice" Tours (Friday)
Exclusively for Musselman athletes and their families! You've enjoyed Red Jacket Orchards juices and fruits since the beginning of the Musselman in 2004, now you can see where it comes from. Red Jacket will run tours of their new LEED silver-certified, wind-powered juicing facility in Geneva. Tours are free and available Friday, July 15 at 3-4pm and 4-5pm. Musselman Mural (Friday and Saturday)
Jef Mallett, creator of the syndicated comic strip Frazz, returns to Geneva for his third time at Musselman. In 2006, Jef competed in the half-iron and designed the race t-shirt. Last year, Jef sketched the world's largest Frazz cartoon on a downtown retaining wall.
This year, Jef will add a new panel to the artwork and all Musselman participants will be able to "sign" their names in paint around it! Come back to Geneva in 50 years and show your grandkids.
Mural painting will be Friday and Saturday evening from 4-6pm.

Musselman Arts Triathlon Sprint(Saturday)
The incredible Arts Triathlon returns to The Smith Opera House, this time as a "sprint" on Saturday from 2-3:30pm between the pre-race athlete briefings. To benefit The Smith Opera House and to bring the arts to race weekend, professional musicians, composers, choreographers, and dancers will perform in an eclectic concert, captured by a visual artist in the moment. The resulting artwork will be auctioned at 4pm to benefit the Smith Center for the Arts. Come and witness the third year of creative fusion and amazing performances. General admission is $10; K-12 children and athletes registered for Sunday's triathlon are admitted free of charge (get your ticket at the expo during packet pickup).

Kite Flying Festival (Saturday)
Stick around after the mini-Mussel or bring your family down to Seneca Lake State Park for an afternoon (11am-2pm) of kite flying! We'll supply a special edition Musselman kite, or you can bring your own. Thanks to the generous support of Five Star Bank, as well as the fair winds that always blow along the lake, we hope to make this an annual Musselman weekend happening!

Post-Race Celebration (Saturday and Sunday)
The fun has just begun when you cross the finish line of the mini-Mussel. Just a few steps from transition you'll find music, food, and entertainment to accompany the awards ceremony... and beyond.
