The spoils of victory: awards
As we are deep in the heart of the Finger Lakes, internationally known for exceptional wines, what better way to celebrate victory than with a bottle of the region's best? The soil, climate, and skilled winemakers combine to produce world-class Rieslings, Cabernet Francs, and Pinot Noirs.

We are ecstatic to announce Chateau LaFayette Reneau as Exclusive Sponsor of the Musselman awards and Anthony Road Winery as Exclusive Sponsor of the mini-Mussel awards.

Beyond the line: massage and chiropractics
You've just conquered one of the most grueling sports on the planet. The least we can do is pamper, soothe, and caress your weary muscles as you bask in the glow of accomplishment. The following organizations and individuals will be waiting for you to cross the line, offering complimentary massages and a soft table to collapse on:

Replenish and nourish: food and drink
After several hours of intense activity, your body needs to be refuled with some good food and beverage. We've got a stellar lineup of wholesome, tasty, real food to savor while spending time with friends and family, lakeside.

Why not start with dessert? For the first time in 2008, Mussel finishers will enjoy delicious cookies from the Stony Brook Cookie Company. This is not your average cookie - they are handmade right here in Geneva, in small batches and out of local, organic ingredients. Please try to save room for the rest of your meal!

Cam's Pizzeria joined the Musselman for the first time in 2007. They've been serving NY-style pizza in downtown Geneva since 1980, and at Sunday's half-iron you'll enjoy the delicious goodness at the post-race celebration.

Wegmans, a chain of grocery stores in the Northeast with a branch in Geneva, will be providing food on Saturday after the mini-Mussel. If you've never been to Wegmans, it's worth the trip - local foods, exotic dishes, bulk foods, seafood, an in-store bakery, and the freshest produce from local farms combine to make shopping for groceries a pleasure. You might want to consider stopping in before the race to stock up - they're five minutes from the State Park, and across the street from the Athlete Village.

We've got another treat for you - Red Jacket Orchards. July is the peak of the summer season for fresh fruit in Upstate New York - did you know that Wayne County, just north of Geneva, is the nation's second largest producer of apples? Red Jacket grows a stunning variety of all sorts of fruit, and from these fruits come sweet, authentic juices.

After enjoying good food with fresh fruit and juice, wander over to the ice cream truck to savor sinfulness! We will tempt you with homemade, cool, creamy ice cream made from fresh ingredients. All of this goodness will be available to you at the post-race meal.
